IT with roots in production
Promaris Service GmbH is an IT services provider from Recklinghausen. We grew out of the IT department of an owner-managed industrial group — and today, alongside that group, we also look after external customers, from mid-sized businesses to internationally operating corporations.

Where we come from
Our roots lie in mechanical and vehicle engineering. Having started as the IT department of a family-run industrial group, we have never seen IT as an end in itself, but as a tool that keeps production, service and administration reliably running. This heritage shapes us to this day: we know the difference between a presentation slide and a workshop where every minute of downtime counts.
Not just code — the complete IT
For our customers we don’t just develop software — we take on the entire IT operation, with everything that goes with it. From deskside support right at the workplace through helpdesk, servers and networks to security, procurement and documentation, we manage these companies’ complete IT. That gives them a single point of contact and a clear head for their core business.

For a manufacturer of vehicle bodies and systems engineering we manage the complete IT — from server and network to deskside support at the workplace — as well as the web presence.

For a specialist in hydraulics and transmission repair we provide complete IT operation, including user support and the online presence.
- Drive & automation technology
For an internationally active industrial group we developed a central platform for monitoring, automation and GoBD compliance — in daily productive operation.

As a long-standing Microsoft partner we combine established enterprise technology with consistently open-source infrastructure — and move just as confidently in the Oracle and DATEV environment.
Service area
We don’t just develop from afar — we are also on site. From our three locations in Recklinghausen, Frankfurt and Auenwald we provide deskside support and assignments directly at the customer’s premises. The marked radius of roughly 150 km around each location covers the Ruhr area, the Rhine-Main region and the Stuttgart region — that is where we can quickly drop by in person.
